Primary Purpose

Our client are seeking to recruit into their successful Technical Architecture team with a Technical Architecture Analyst to support the growing business and sales team.

The Technical Architecture Analyst will support the winder Technical Architecture team to deliver technical consultancy and pre-sales activities, and transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via excellent written documentation.

The successful candidate will assist the Technical Architects and Head of Technical Architecture with the management of client activities, bookings, and meetings. Preparation of documentation for clients based on the templated documentation maintained by the Technical Architecture Team. Alongside this the

Technical Architecture Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the efficient interaction with the account management team and the wider business.

Working with the IT Sales Team, your responsibilities will include the development of formal written sales proposals and tender responses based around our product offerings. This role will require an eye for detail as well as a solid understanding of technical language and principals.

Reporting to the Head of Technical Architecture, you will be joining an established business with growth aspirations underpinned by an on-track Business Plan.

We see the role of Technical Architecture Analyst as a stepping stone into the role of Technical Architect for the right candidate who has a dedication to learning and a commitment to personal development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing technical support, consultancy and/ or delivery services to end-user customers for some or all products, such as, Microsoft, Back Up and DR, Security, Networking, Storage, Server, Client, and Cloud solutions. With a key focus on well documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver chargeable Technical Services to new and existing customers for products, such as Microsoft, Back Up and DR, Security, Networking, Storage, Server, Client and Cloud solutions etc.
• Management of team bookings, calendars and meetings
• Documentation creation from the teams' templates
• Management and ownership of activity logging and reporting in the CRM system
• Working with the Technical Architecture Team and Account managers to deliver to client expectations.
• Technical Training and development towards Technical Architect role
• Build custom demonstrations and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC)

• Compare competitive products to specify the most advantageous solutions for customers; and

• Take a leading role in specifying technical solutions and writing proposals and tender responses.

Behaviours Required

• Technical Consultancy customer-facing experience or project delivery experience in an MSP or IT Reseller or experience in an IT management or Lead Technical internal role

• Proven Technical and IT Services experience

• Proposal and Tender writing experience or experience of writing internal documentation to a high customer facing standard

• Formal Qualifications to include some or all the following technologies: Microsoft, Vmware, Microsoft Azure, Dell, Cisco, or any other technical certification

• Excellent commercial acumen

• Excellent presentation and demonstration skills
• Excellent organisational skills

• Excellent listening skills

• Ability to explain and present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent relationship-building skills

• Affinity to both sales and technology functions; and
• Be based in the UK with occasional travel throughout Europe.
