Team Manager Safeguarding and Care Planning Team - £54K
Requirements:
- Social Work England registered
- Experience within section 7s, child protection, PLO and initial assessment
- Extensive Management/Supervising experience
- Social Work Qualification
The vacancy opened up due to the internal promotion of a Team Manager to a senior post. The team is continuously developing through actively reducing caseloads, extra training and working through the Signs of Safety Innovation Project. This allows you to use your own ideas to shape the way you work with the service users.

The team works on the premise that children should be raised within their families wherever possible providing it is safe for them. They recognise that unfortunately some families struggle to care and/or consistently meet the needs of their children and need our support. The team works with children who are subject to Child in Need Plans and Child Protection Plans, striving to work with their family to create and promote the enabling environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential.
The Local Authority is committed to the modernisation of their services and offer interactive working. They do this through providing tablets and smart phones to all of their social workers allowing you to have flexible working.
