Teaching Assistant - The Role:

The successfully appointed teaching assistant will be required to provide support to individual pupils and groups of pupils, to encourage improvements in behaviour for learning. Classes are made up of between 6 and 12 students, all of which have been permanent excluded from mainstream education. To be considered for this teaching assistant role, you must have previous experience working within a PRU.

Teaching Assistant - The School:

This mixed, all-through pupil referral united caters to under 100 students. In their last Ofsted they were rated GOOD. This provision based close to central Croydon, cater for permanently excluded young people and provide timely short-term interventions for pupils who are struggling to manage their learning/behaviour in a mainstream school setting. Located a stones throw from a station offering services on the Southern line and Thameslink, this school is easily accessible from all areas of South London.
