Spanish Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teaching Assistant to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Slough. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic language department.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Assist in the delivery of Spanish lessons to secondary school students, supporting their language acquisition and understanding.
  • Work closely with the Spanish teacher to create an immersive and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide additional support to students during lessons, helping them with pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom activities.
  • Help to assess student progress and provide feedback to the Spanish teacher.
  • Participate in school events and language clubs to promote the Spanish language and culture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Spanish and strong communication skills in English.
  • A passion for education and language teaching.
  • Previous experience in a teaching or classroom assistant role is desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and engage effectively with students.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and dedication to student success.
