Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Primary School near West Hampstead

Salary: £95-£105 per day, dependent on experience

Holiday: 13 weeks per year (term time only role)

A primary school near West Hampstead is seeking a versatile Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This role offers a unique blend of 1:1 learning support assistant responsibilities and general class teaching assistant duties, providing an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs, ensuring they receive tailored assistance to achieve their full potential.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
  • Supporting the social and emotional development of students, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being within the school community.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to implement behavior management strategies and maintain high standards of discipline.
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources, adapting them to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role, with no two days being the same.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a educational setting, preferably as a teaching assistant.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying demands of the role.
  • Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development.
