Are you a Teaching Assistant looking to start in a new school? Do you have experience in Primary Schools? Specifically, KS2?

Here at Prospero, I am working with a wonderful mainstream primary school in Preston that requires a proactive Teaching Assistant for their Yr5 class.

As a Teaching Assistant you need to have:

  • A positive and patient approach.
  • The ability to provide plenty of encouragement and support.
  • Have appropriate questioning and communication skills.

I would like to recruit:

  • An adaptable Teaching Assistant who can provide excellent support for the children and help them to make progress in all areas.
  • A Teaching Assistant who can integrate into a staff team easily.
  • A patient and understanding Teaching Assistant who can build relationships confidently with the children.

This role is to start after half term and will be required for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential that the role will continue onto the following year.

Essential Criteria:

  • Prior experience of working in UK primary schools.
  • Prior experience working with upper KS2 children.
  • A relevant qualification.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
