Teaching Assistant – Special Educational Needs
Do you have experience supporting children with special educational needs? Are you looking for a rewarding role at a supportive school where no two days are the same?  This welcoming special school is looking to add an experienced Teaching Assistant to the team to provide outstanding support for children with a range of special educational needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a team of teachers and TA’s who love what they do and are determined to make a difference for young people with additional need. As a Teaching Assistant you will be providing classroom and small group support for children and be working closely with an experienced teacher to ensure that children are engaged, happy and safe. The school has an outstanding reputation for making a positive impact on the lives of the children and families that is supports.
This role requires previous experience as a Teaching Assistant and ideally you will hold the Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

Job Role:
  • Supporting within a small class of children with additional needs.
  • Providing tailored group support with children who have a range of special educational needs.
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs.
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant.
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils.
  • Making learning fun and engaging for students with special educational needs.
