Do you want to join a friendly team at an excellent special school? This school requires an experienced Teaching Assistant to join the team to provide 1-2-1 and small group support. As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be assisting an experienced class teacher, supporting the needs up the pupils. This school caters for children of primary age with a range of additional needs including, autism, Asperger’s and MLD. The SENCO aims to places all Teaching Assistants in classes that best suit their skillset and experience.

Job Role:
- Supporting on a 1-2-1 basis within small classes of KS1 or KS2 children with additional needs
- Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs
- Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant
- Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils
- Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours
- Outstanding support form an established team of Teaching Assistants
- Access to ongoing training and CPD
- Working with an outstanding SEND Teacher
- A long-term opportunity in an “Outstanding” School
