Teaching Assistant

Location: Preston, UK

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Hours: Full-time/Part-time, immediate start with potential for extension

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development in an educational setting? Do you have experience working with children in a school or childcare environment? We are looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and assist teachers in providing high-quality education to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the teacher in setting up the classroom environment and resources.
  • Providing administrative support such as preparing materials and maintaining records.
  • Supporting classroom management and helping to keep children focused on tasks.
  • Providing one-to-one assistance to students who may require additional support with classroom activities.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check for childcare (or willingness to apply for one with our assistance).
  • Valid and contactable professional references from recent employment.
  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
