Teacher of Geography - Ramsgate

Academics have been approached by a well-respected secondary school in Ramsgate who are seeking a Teacher of Geography. This role is starting in September 2024 and is a permanent role.

The school are seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented and inspiring classroom practitioner to teach Geography subjects across all ability groups in KS3. This will include the possibility of Teaching History, Geography and RE at KS3. At KS4 it will include teaching GCSE in your specialism.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Be a qualified Teacher (QTS - PGCE, B.Ed, GTP)
  • Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum
  • Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Geography
  • Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject
  • Be able to motivate their students
  • Be committed to high standards for both staff and students
  • Be prepared to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school
