Tax Assistant Job Vacancy

Are you an ATT or CTA studying professional skilled in the provision of foundation level tax services for a broad range of clients. Do you have some UK practice experience in tax nd would you be excited to work with a firm of accountants who offer accounting services in Newport, Wales?

Are you familiar with processing personal and/or corporate tax returns, VAT and supporting the Tax Seniors and Managers in the provision of ad hoc tax services?

Are you a skilled communicator adept at liaising directly with clients and helping them to overcome queries and problems to ensure a seamless tax experience?

Job Purpose
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • VAT.
  • Support with payroll.
  • Client liaison and relationship building.
  • Troubleshooting and solving tax relevant queries.
  • Support the Managers and Partners with the development of the bureau.

Job Requirements
  • UK practice tax experience.
  • Studying towards or CTA/ATT level qualified is desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of preparing tax computations for a varied client portfolio.
  • Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated with managing your own workload.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A team player, able to work alongside other team members.
  • Motivated with high standards.
  • Proactive approach to professional development.
