Our Tax Advisory team is seeking a qualified Tax Advisor, as part of the tax team, this role will be instrumental in providing expert tax advice, and submit compliance assignments to ensure the successful completion of tax advice for relevant clients. This role can be based in our Spalding or Grantham office.

Your responsibilities

Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:

  • Delivering all elements of a tax project, tax advice or tax compliance with supervision (review) by your manager or director.
  • Training assistant team members, including regularly reviewing their work to ensure that client requirements are actioned.

  • Managing your workflow and client expectations, using your specialist knowledge and skills to add value to the bookkeeping hub.

  • Developing working relationships with clients and assisting in all aspects of the company’s relationships with them to maximise yield and performance.

  • Identifying areas of risk and viable opportunities for both current clients and potential clients.

About you

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:

  • You will be ACA, ACCA, or CTA, or ATT qualified with a minimum of 1 year’s post-qualification experience.

  • Experience in Inheritance tax, capital gains, allowances, trusts, income tax and incorporation work.

  • Interpersonal and people management

  • Organised with good time and budget management.

  • Ability to prioritise own workload.

  • Self-motivated for technical knowledge and personal development

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365

  • You are based in the east midlands, can commute to either our Grantham or Spalding office.
