Tax Accountant

A real estate and property management company that develops, owns, and manages properties globally is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team based in London.

The role will be supporting the Tax Manager to maintain high quality tax compliance and reporting. This will include preparation of statutory tax reporting, HMRC tax returns and associated tax workings for the UK & international group entities. In addition, support the Tax Manager and Head of Tax with various projects and providing tax advice to the business.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Provision of financial information and tax computations, together with supporting tax workings to the Tax Manager for review.
• Preparation and review of internal and external corporation tax reporting and tax returns.
• Support Tax Manager with in-sourcing of tax returns from external tax advisors
• Support Tax Manager and advise business units on tax implications of projects.
• Support Tax Manager to coordinate financial data required from business unit and service centre.

What are we looking for?

• Strong relevant experience in tax reporting and/or preparation of corporation tax returns within a Top 10 Accounting Practice or In-House Tax Team.
• ACA / ACCA / CTA part qualified.
• The job holder will need strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written & oral.
• The job holder will need the ability to prioritise and manage large volumes of work to meet deadlines.
• The job holder will need strong UK corporate tax technical knowledge .
• Experience of assisting with preparation of UK transfer pricing documentation requirements is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience of dealing with service centres is desirable, but not essential.
