Talent Manager (Talent Acquisition and Talent Development)

Location: Hybrid working must be able to access London or Manchester with ease

This role will be both Recruiting and designing Talent Development strategies for the right candidates is pivotal to the business success and ability to innovate. You will oversee the processes that dictate our Client’s candidate experience, but also aid the recruiting team in establishing and meeting their short and long-term goals. We need an exceptional individual who can express their vision and is relentless in their pursuit of building the best team across the organisation!

The role:

  • To be a strategic partner and work closely with the CHRO, wider HR team and business leaders to shape and execute their strategy through a multi-year roadmap delivering against agreed priorities.
  • Lead the effective design, development and delivery of talent acquisition and people development initiatives to build skills and capabilities in line with needs across a diverse business area
  • Rethink how be build current and future capability through holistic solutions for the continued Talent Acquisition Learning and Development of employees for all levels of the organisation.
  • Lead the hands on execution of priority deliverables, including a number of critical leadership and capability building programs.
  • Overall accountability for Early Careers. Lead strategic review and effective delivery to continue to elevate the early careers experience and ensure alignment to future business needs.
  • Bring thought leadership and shape new thinking, innovation across the whole Talent agenda
  • Be responsible for creating and implementing leadership capability model across the integrated talent management processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, talent assessment and learning, working in close partnership stakeholders.
  • Serve as a crucial point of contact between executive leadership and employees
  • Create engaging hiring campaigns using and developing in-house technologies
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for both technical and non-technical roles, from talent sourcing to final round decision-making
  • Lead cross-functional Talent Acquisition team projects, such as building out new roles or exploring new ways to reach candidates and build diversity
  • Develop and maintain reporting that highlights metrics to measure against business hiring goals and overall team performance (i.e. using data to evaluate and optimize current hiring processes)
  • Ensure compliance of Applicant Tracking System procedures and the recruiting process; Assisting with compliance and data audits
  • Manage talent acquisition initiatives, such as employee referrals, university recruiting, sourcing strategies, and more
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relates to your role
  • Adhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets

The person:

  • Degree educated, or equivalent
  • Robust Talent Development and Talent acquisition experience in a high-growth tech company/start-up
  • Proven background in leading a full cycle recruiting team and familiarity with the Tech/AI talent market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a diverse, inclusive organisation
  • Proven track record of creating and successfully delivering strategies and solutions that meets or exceeds established goals delivering meaningful results for people and the business.
  • Experience gained in a high growth Tech/AI organisation
  • Talent Management experience - Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Talent Development.
  • Strong project management skills and experience working in a fast-paced global environment, focused on talent acquisition talent management, leadership development, learning and capability development.
  • Deep expertise in designing, developing and delivering high impact talent acquisition, learning and leadership strategies and solutions aligned to people and business needs.
  • Ability to adapt and learn in a changing environment. Ability to act as a change agent and role models change efforts. Learning agility to acquire/apply new practices and information in a constantly changing environment.
