Talent Acquisition Specialist | Kent | 35-45k

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the organisation's staffing needs. You will collaborate with hiring managers to understand their requirements, develop effective recruiting strategies, and execute the full recruitment lifecycle. Your goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Utilise various channels, including social media, job boards, networking, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates.
  • Screen applications, conduct phone interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the interview process, including scheduling, preparing interviewers, and providing feedback to candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as necessary.
  • Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment with candidates.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to onboard new employees smoothly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
