Systems Implementation Accountant

North Manchester

Salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum plus benefits

Their current requirement is for an experienced Accountant who has implemented a system from concept to UATs and beyond.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the management, improvement, and integrity of the various Finance systems
• Work with the business to decide on improved system requirements, and their implementation
• Development of the business reporting requirements
• Collaboration with finance team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Develop and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial reporting processes with business objectives
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in accounting and finance.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required by management

What you will need to bring:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial reporting and systems management
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with systems implementation and upgrades.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Project management and leadership experience
