Systems Administrator
Our client is a global manufacturing company, they are currently seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to be based at one of their sites in Bromsgrove (B60) 3 days / WFH 2 days who can provide support for team members across the UK.
Reporting into the IT Support Manager, you will be working within the IT team providing system administration and third line support services for the IT infrastructure and associated IT services across all UK sites. Installing, configuring, and upgrading IT systems.
Core duties and responsibilities -
- Take ownership for supporting system platforms, including Server \ Client operating systems, Network configuration, Firewall Administration, and other platforms which underpin the IT Delivery and Service
- Comply with organisation procedures to ensure integrity and security of the systems.
- Ownership of the Veeam infrastructure, including creation, validation, and verification of the backup systems
- Ownership of the Network infrastructure
- Ownership of Server infrastructure including Hyper-V Clusters
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day incidents, both onsite and via remote support
Candidates should have -
- Detailed and demonstratable knowledge of Networking including VLAN’s / ACL / Routing / L2/L3
- Detailed knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
- Detailed knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Server 2012/16/19/22 including Hyper-V Clusters
- Experienced with Office 365 stack including Administration, Exchange, and Azure portal.
- Working knowledge of Veeam 11 or above
- Working knowledge of SCCM
Any familiarity with ITIL Service Management methodology and a CCNA certification or equivalent would be a real plus!
Monday to Friday, 35-hour week standard days split across WFH and Bromsgrove B60.
