Role: Sustainability Consultant / Manager

Location: Newbury & Southern Region

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Salary: Leading + Package

Role Overview: As the Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainability initiatives across various construction projects. You will be responsible for implementing sustainable practices ensuring compliance with environmental regulations!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability strategies and policies in line with industry standards
• Collaborate with design teams and pre-construction departments to integrate sustainability measures into project planning and bids
• Conduct sustainability assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices
• Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Engage with stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors to promote sustainable practices and initiatives
• Provide technical expertise and support on sustainability-related matters throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to the development of sustainable procurement practices and materials selection

The Sustainability Manager will have:

• Excellent knowledge of sustainable building design
• Proven history of driving design teams to understand and respond to environmental constraints and opportunities to maximise positive environmental benefits
• Expertise in one or more sustainability topics
• The ability to cover the Southern region
