Salary range: £35,000-£40,000 plus excellent benefits package!


As the Sustainability Coordinator at Scania, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping sustainable practices within our organisation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Coordinate Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) sustainability initiatives. Your focus will be on reducing Scania’s environmental footprint and enhancing our social responsibility efforts.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep a pulse on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices related to sustainability. Leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, customers, and community partners. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be crucial in fostering collaboration and driving positive change.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Monitor and evaluate the impact of sustainability initiatives. Prepare regular reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate progress.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in the transformation and sustainability sector. Previous work in ESG, environmental management, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A genuine commitment to sustainability and a desire to contribute to a greener, more socially responsible future.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. You can engage with diverse stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Flexibility and agility are essential.
