The Role
Working Well: Support To Succeed is a new programme of activity which identifies, engages, and supports economically inactive Greater Manchester (GM) residents (aged 19 and over) who are furthest away from the labour market, with complex needs (including those who are not engaged with mainstream provision) to address barriers and achieve positive onward destinations.

As a Keyworker you will manage a caseload of participants, being their mentor and coach. You will support them to become socially included by assessing their needs and developing individually tailored support packages to aid them to enter either training, education, or employment. Participants may include single parents, those with criminal records, mental health groups, ex-services, specific ethnic minority, or faith groups and those with specific disabilities. You will ensure contractual and quality compliance relating to paperwork and the CRM system ensuring the system is kept up to date and complying with Data protection and confidentiality standards.

Candidates
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Employment and Skills team for a Support to Succeed Keyworker and for the right person we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme, and 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days.

Our ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of managing a personal caseload of participants, whilst being the single point of contact, mentor, and coach.
* The ability to build positive relationships with service users, as well as the ability to work with autonomy and working as part of a team.
* The ability to interact with customers to evaluate strengths and needs and create an effective strength-based action plan
* Experience of providing one to one support to participants
* Experience of working in partnership with statutory and non- statutory agencies
* A working knowledge of careers advice and benefits to support customers
* Excellent communication skills
* A flexible approach to work from a number of locations across Greater Manchester with a full valid driving license and use of a vehicle for work.
