We are recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Manager for a leading Animal Pharmaceutical company operating in 42 countries with over 3000 employees worldwide. This role will be based in the UK.

This role affords the opportunity to define and implement an end-to-end supply chain and customer service process across the UK. The focus will be on sales forecasts, Sales & Operations Planning, third-party logistics, supply/production planning, warehousing, inventory, distribution operations, customer service, claims management, contract management, transportation, purchasing, and procurement.

You will be reporting to the Country Manager and will be managing a team of three. You will be working closely with the UK Business Unit Managers and other internal stakeholders.

The right candidate will be a results-driven individual with:

  • Strong business acumen
  • Supply Chain Planning
  • A strong knowledge of transport, distribution & warehousing
  • A good communicator with excellent negotiation skills
  • The ability to collect and analyse large amounts of data
  • Strong networking, conflict management & interpersonal skills
  • Proven project management experience

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience in the Pharma industry ideal or experience within a regulated industry
  • Project management experience
