Supply Chain Coordinator

An exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a globally recognised FMCG organisation. This role requires a proactive individual who can balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Description

• Coordinate sourcing of raw materials from group companies globally to specification and budget
• Carry out market research to identify and understand supply, demand, and pricing structures
• Ensure smooth execution of customer PO's
• Assist with contracts, create purchase order and obtain quotes from suppliers, placing orders.
• Management of MRP (material requirement planning) and P2P (purchase to pay) process
• Liaise daily with warehouse, external processors, and freight companies on shipments
• Ensure stock levels are compatible with achieving at least four stock turns by the end of the financial year.
• Be effective in communication enabling the post-holder to discuss relevant issues with various stakeholders.
• Offer lead times on live orders and shipments

Profile

• Prior experience in a similar role within the sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software, such as inventory management systems and MS Office.
