Location: Middleton

Salary : £24,000 - £25,000

Consultants : Ben Harrison and Sarah Duffy

Currently working with a fantastic Client based in Middleton, our client is a leading manufacturer of materials utilized in medical, industrial and customer produce applications.

Working hours are - Full time Monday - Friday (9-5)

What you can expect:

Responsibilities:

This role is key to the wider team and the successful candidate will be accountable for assisting in all supply chain and general administration operations within the business. Role overview:

  • To build and maintain strong supplier relations
  • To assist in the transactional procurement activity (direct and indirect) when required
  • Review, amend and process requisitions for supplies, materials and services
  • Ensuring purchase orders are acknowledged, ensuring pricing and delivery dates are correct in the COA documentation and uploading the documents to the system
  • Liaising with planning ensuring customer requirements are fully understood
  • Monitoring and amendment of any orders that are behind schedule through liaising with the correct departments to address the situation
  • Raise and instigate actions to resolve any customer complaints or queries

Profile:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 2 years of Business Administration experience
  • Have a good level of numeracy and literacy ability
  • Be proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Manage stress well prioritize work load
  • Display independence, ownership and initiative
