Structured Finance Operations Accountant

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a globally renowned organisation based in Milton Keynes? We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Structured Finance Operations Accountant where you will play a crucial part in producing accurate monthly investor reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate monthly reports for investors in the UK and Europe within tight deadlines, ensuring timely delivery to relevant parties.

• Monitor pool performance and deal triggers, communicate issues and trends to relevant stakeholders, and provide monthly commentary to Senior Management and Treasury colleagues.

• Address investor queries with detailed analysis and explanations, both verbally and in writing.

• Prepare and submit monthly regulatory schedules

• Complete monthly and annual accounting postings and reconciliations

• Maintain the integrity of data, including data feeds and reconciliations, by investigating and resolving variances and issues promptly.

• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and accounts preparation.

• Review current processes, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with new Regulations/Accounting Standards.

• Regularly report key risks and issues, along with recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Exposure to Financial Services, particularly in Structured Finance Transactions (DCF), showcasing a nuanced understanding.
• Essential experience in portfolio analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
• Collaborative team player exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
• Desirable proficiency in Advanced Excel, systems, and data comprehension.
• PQ/Finalist ACA/ACCA or CIMA is advantageous.
• Robust analytical skills, adept at identifying, comprehending, and elucidating financial data.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
