Are you a Structural Engineer from a design & steel / timber background looking for a multifaceted role where you will work as the lead structural engineer for an employee-owned company overseeing multiple varied projects, giving you the chance to contribute to product development, pioneer the department & build your own team in the future?

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for conducting structural checks and calculations for all products and variations, ensuring that all products meet rigorous standards through meticulous checks and calculations. Your role will extend beyond the technical realm, providing advice to various departments, from sales to design, and even supporting customers with site-specific loadings and foundation designs. Additionally, you'll contribute to new product design and development, quantify value engineering designs, and ensure product compliance with relevant design standards with support when needed.

This role would suit a Structural Engineer with design experience looking to further their career in Structural Engineering with potential to become a specialist within a growing company as they aim to become a market leader.

THE ROLE:

• Conduct structural checks and calculations for products, provide advice to departments, and offer site-specific loadings and foundation designs.
• Contribute to new product design, assess value engineering designs, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with external structural experts for second checks to maintain structural integrity and innovation
