We’re currently recruiting for a temporary Stores Administrator for a company based in Wolverhampton.

Pay £12/ph

Working Monday - Friday 8am - 16:30

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR STORES ADMINISTRATOR
  • Ordering and re-ordering of goods and services to support plant operations (including stock and non-stock items)
  • Replenishment of stocked items in the sites’ engineering stores to support plant operations.
  • Receiving and inspection of goods and services into the different store's locations to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize purchase to pay non-conformance.
  • Issuing of materials with valid work orders to end users on site (job kitting). This transaction must also be accounted for on the Inventory system.
  • Return of defective/non-conforming goods to suppliers, keeping a record of all covering paperwork.
  • Housekeeping of the store areas in the various locations.
  • Control of repair assets going off-site for repair and working with the Maintenance team to ensure the repair is to the correct standard.
  • Maintenance of the integrity of the data in the SAP system relating to purchased materials and services, including stock levels, re-ordering details, descriptions, product codes, store locations, suppliers, prices, and units of measure, to ensure effective inventory management.
  • Identification of new stores' material requirements/obsolescence and updating of the Maximo system to reflect the changes.
  • Familiarisation with and management of the purchasing, work order, and inventory modules within SAP.
  • The optimization of inventory levels in SAP to best serve the needs of the Balliol plant.
  • Cycle counting/stock checking of stocked goods in the various store locations, in line with Corporate Audit requirements.
  • Satisfactory resolution of stores-related invoice non-conformance issues within the SAP
  • systems
  • To adhere to local Purchasing and Stores Management procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR STORES ADMINISTRATOR
  • High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
  • A track record of experience in an engineering stores environment
  • A demonstrated understanding of the principles of Stores / Inventory management
  • English fluent (verbal and written)
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, and use of the internet.
  • Experience independently making decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling of more complex administrative support.
  • Experience with the SAP (desirable but not essential)
  • Familiarity with process plant environment, and with maintenance processes, activities, goods, and services of the environment.
