Stock Controller

I am delighted to be supporting a growing consumer business based in the heart of North Yorkshire on the appointment of a Stock Controller to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will form part of a key team in the growing business, where you will be responsible for all aspects of the stock control and management, including managing the import and export of their consumer products. You will take responsibility for the management of the stock control onsite and be responsible for the purchasing and procurement of stock, ensuring customer demands are met inline with the orders from the sales department. Working closely with wider teams, including finance and sales, you will ensure the costing of the products is up-to-date, providing regular reports monitoring sales trends inline with customer demand. You will work with wider 3rd part logistics providers to deliver a first class delivery service to customers and manage all import and export documentation.

To succeed in this exciting opportunity, you will have commercial awareness and have experience working within a stock control/stock management/inventory control environment, ideally some experience within a SME-sized organisation involved in consumer products, where you are able to demonstrate exceptional customer service and have experience managing the import and export of products internationally.
