Sports Coach - Female PE

  • Location: Scunthorpe
  • Job Type: Part-time (Thursdays and Fridays)
  • Daily Rate: £100 - £120 (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coach to lead female PE classes at our secondary school in Scunthorpe. This part-time role is perfect for a dedicated individual with a passion for sports and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking their own classes as a sports cover supervisor for two days a week until the end of the term.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging PE lessons to female students across various year groups.
  • Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage progress.
  • Manage class behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Coordinate with the PE department to align lesson plans with the school’s curriculum.
  • Organise and facilitate sports activities and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and passion for sports and physical education.
  • Previous experience in coaching or leading sports activities (desirable).
  • Coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
