Job Role: Specialist Female Outreach Worker

Salary: £24,500 per year (£27,718 if IDVA Qualified)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract type: Fixed-term contract until the end of March 2025 with potential for permanent placement

Location: Bath

The Role:

As a Specialist Female Outreach Worker, you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you’ll engage with female rough sleepers in Bath, providing person-centred outreach services aligned with the No Second Night Out initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assertive outreach and hot spot visits, including unsocial hours
  • Perform risk and needs assessments, facilitating access to appropriate services
  • Adhere to No Second Night Out guidelines for new rough sleepers
  • Identify and refer individuals with substance misuse, mental health, and behavioural needs
  • Maintain accurate client records using our system

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle (business insurance required for work-related travel)
  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or those with complex needs
