Special Needs Teacher – Secondary
With outstanding leadership, a supportive team, and a common goal to make a difference, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or aspiring Special Needs Teacher to join a wonderful school. Are you passionate about providing an interactive and outstanding education for children with additional learning needs? This school is what you are looking for! As a Special Needs Teacher at this school, you will be teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 / 4 students who are currently working at a Key Stage 2 level.

This role requires a teacher who has previous experience teaching children with additional needs, who is calm, empathetic, patient, and determined to make a difference. Leadership at this school lead by example and provide teachers with all the support they require to be successful. As a teacher you will have access to excellent resources and be supported by an experienced team of teaching assistants. This role requires a QTS teacher who wants to make a difference and who loves working with children with special educational needs.

Job Role:
  • Teaching a small class of children with special educational needs.
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual children.
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
