Special Educational Needs Teacher needed for School in Hastings
Are you a passionate Secondary Teacher looking to support and guide children with Special Educational Needs? Primarily Social, Emotional and Mental Health?
Engage Education is currently working with a growing school in Hastings who support children with Social and Emotional Needs.
This is a special school for pupils from year 3 to year 11, who have the capacity to reach age related expectations yet whose neuro-diverse profils alongside additional social, emotional and mental health result in significant barriers to learning. Their goal is to provide a supportive and happy environment for children to flourish.
About the role:

Support children with their individualised learning goals

Understanding of EHCP’s
-
Understanding of de-escalation strategies
-
Cater to variety of needs and behaviour
-
Be versatile, adaptable and resilient
-
Effective behaviour management skills
-
An understanding of attachment and trauma
-
Starting in September, 2024.
