We are seeking a Solutions Architect with essential experience in working on a Windows 11 migration project.

Role:                      Solutions Architect

Location:               Bath (1-2 days per week onsite / hybrid working)

Start:                      May 2024

Duration:               3 months initially (strong possibility of extension)

Rate:                      £575 - £625 (Outside IR35)

Duties:                  

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the Windows 10 to Windows 11 rollout project.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition to Windows 11.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including architecture designs and deployment plans.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and adjust plans as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organisational standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions that align with project goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect, specifically with Windows operating system rollouts.
  • Essential experience in Windows 11, including deployment and configuration.
  • Previous experience managing similar large-scale rollout projects.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • University experience is desirable but not essential.
