Role: Solution Architect - D365
Salary: Up to £80'000
Location: Bristol/Devon - Hybrid

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our clients talented team. you will be responsible for architecting and designing solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements in support of a given initiative and the firm's strategic direction.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience working as a Lead Developer and Architect.
  • Proven ability to architect, govern and deliver solutions to meet business needs.
  • Experience with working with agile delivery teams to product development and evolution.
  • In-depth understanding of coding languages.
  • Excellent communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical mindset that explores all considerations when creating solutions.
  • Confident and effective persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Experience supporting technological change across a business.
  • Understanding of user journeys to create and deliver better, more joined up solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills (to internal/external stakeholders).

  • Proficiency in working with legal-specific applications such as iManage, 3E, and Intapp, including configuration, customisation, and integration with other systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, govern and deliver solutions to meet business needs.
  • Build and integrate information systems to meet the company's needs.
  • Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
  • Provide support and guidance to development teams on architectural elements.
  • Research current and emerging technologies, and propose changes where needed.
  • Inform stakeholders about any problems with technical solutions being implemented.
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have.
  • Find solutions to business challenges by evaluating emerging technologies and the evolution of current technologies.
  • Contribute to strategic plans for technology, which satisfy the current and ongoing needs of the firm's business strategy, and the current and future capabilities of technology.
  • Define future vision roadmap for optimal applications of technology to meet business needs.
  • Evolve, direct, and govern the development of frameworks, standards, policies, principles, and procedures that guide technology decisions and maximise reuse of technology.
  • Chair solution forums, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, and consistency across organisational and design boundaries.
  • Develop the component, integration and technical architecture for project and platform initiatives, and collaborates with project teams to realise them.
  • Identify necessary non-functional requirements.
  • Produce high level design deliverables that enable development teams to produce products that are flexible, scalable, and secure.
  • Recommend options for the resolution and prevention of technical debt and to facilitate rapid development and implementation
