A world-leading innovator in computer graphics, video capture, and digital display technology are seeking a Software Tester to join their team based in Derby. The company has a strong reputation for delivering class-leading products and effective customer support across various markets across the world. This is a perfect role for someone who has experience in software testing and a passion for technology, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and design tests accordingly.
• Write, maintain, and execute manual software tests to validate acceptance criteria.
• Manage and upkeep test scripts for stable continuous integration testing.
• Collaborate within the software team using agile methods, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Self-manage workload across multiple teams when feasible

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, preferably in applications.
• Proficient in testing methodologies such as functional and regression testing, with a strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with software version control systems and project management tools like Git and DevOps Azure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
