Software Test Engineer - Waterlooville - Semi remote - £40k - £45k

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding Electronics manufacturer based near Waterlooville who are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to help develop and automate the companies development processes for a range of Electronic devices.

The company are in a highly lucrative industry and are expanding to meet customer requirements. This is a hands on role working across engineering team. You will be involved closely with the Software and Electronics team.

This is a semi-remote Software Test role. As the company have a number of projects in R&D, some in office work is required.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer science, Maths, Physics or similar
  • 2+ years commercial Test experience for non web projects (Desktop, Embedded, Systems etc)
  • Good experience working with version control tools
  • Experience using C/C++ or Python for building scripts
  • Experience Building test cases and frameworks for wireless products is highly desirable
