Software Test Analyst - Digital agency £40,000

I have an exciting opportunity for a Web Test Analyst/ QA Tester from a Digital Agency background to join an expanding company as their first Software Tester/ QA . They are going through a period of growth having expanded their team from 32 to 40 members within the last six months. They work on a diverse array of projects, serving a broad spectrum of clients that include ecommerce businesses, governmental bodies, and the NHS so you'll get to be involved in a variety of different projects. They are happy for this person to be fully remote along with the rest of their teaam, as long as you are based in the South / South West of England.

The organization has reached the point in their journey where they are starting to recognise the value that a dedicated QA could bring to their operations. They are now looking for their first QA/ Software Tester and someone who is prepared to dive into hands-on testing activities various numerous projects, while also collaborating closely with development teams to establish and refine testing processes. Your aim will be to enhance the quality and reliability of the company's digital offerings, ensuring they meet the highest standards for their customers.

As the first QA in the company, you will play a crucial role in shaping the quality assurance landscape across their projects. You will work closely with their developers to get some more formal processes in place for testing across their projects, and your responsibilities will include testing a variety of web-based applications and sites, writing and executing detailed test scripts, support and maintenance and developing test matrices to systematically assess and improve product quality. You will also be actively involved in accessibility testing, ensuring that the company's projects are inclusive and accessible to all users ??. This role not only requires a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of testing methodologies but also a passion for enhancing user experiences through rigorous quality assurance practices.

Their ideal person will have solif experience as a Tester across web based projects and have experience of working for a Digital Agency before. You'll need to be comfortable working across multiple projects and working as their sole QA/ Software Tester initially.
