Softare Developer - Role and Responsibilities - C++, Python, Software Engineer, Coding

As a Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a software development team, reporting directly to the Chief Software Engineer. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing end-to-end software solutions.
  • Demonstrating expertise in desktop control systems for large-scale electromechanical assemblies.
  • Maintaining and enhancing legacy Python and C++ systems.
  • Upgrading, migrating, and innovating existing software solutions.
  • Utilizing your strong proficiency in C++ with STL and templates, Python, and basic SQL for database work.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Linux, Gtk, Gnome windowing system, TCP/IP networking, sockets, threads, and distributed processing systems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.

Software Developer - Qualifications - C++, Python, Software Engineer, Coding

  • A Bachelor's Degree (BEng / BSc Hons) or higher in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position or industry.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
