Software Development Manager (SQL, .NET) | Hybrid - Stoke | To £65k + bonus

Are you a technical leader driven to enable business expansion through software innovation? I am looking to speak to experienced Software Engineering Manager (solid .NET and SQL background) to oversee high-performing teams building enterprise regulatory systems.

In this role, you will drive the delivery of software enabling their entry into new global markets. The teams here are building OLAP systems for data produced by tens of millions of customers globally - data which needs to be processed as quickly and efficiently as possible. Expert SQL and C# skills are key to architecting high-volume, real-time data solutions central to our clients outstanding growth.

Success means combining stellar people management with a keen understanding of distributed systems, system processes, and other architectures to produce extremely reliable, high-quality applications under tight timelines. Our client need an energetic leader able to motivate teams, ensure robust governance, and forge strong stakeholder relationships. You will need to have experience managing multiple development teams at any one time across a couple of locations.

You need to have experience of managing development teams (of up to circa 10 people). You will need to have experience nurturing your team and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

If you have a proven track record running Dev teams AND deep hands-on tech expertise, this is a phenomenal opportunity. You will oversee skilled professionals using agile methodologies to create innovative platforms that pave the way for geographic expansion.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to (circa £65k) plus a terrific bonus scheme (to 30%) and an outstanding benefits package. This is a hybrid role so I am looking to speak to people who are happy to be on site 2 days per week (in Stoke) and don't mind travelling as per the business needs.
