Software Asset & Configuration Management - SACM - 6 month contract (inside IR35) - Cumbria - 3 days onsite - SC Clearance
I'm looking for an experienced Software Asset & Configuration Manager for a our public sector client in Cumbria. Due to the nature and the urgency of the role, candidates who have sole British Nationality and hold current SC clearance would be preferred.
In addition, ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent background managing all aspects of Software Assets and Configuration Management requirements, including maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Experience of managing virtual teams and ensure accurate updates to the CMDB
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience of analysing data and providing reports for quality management and statistics
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to challenge, negotiate and influence decision making
- Previous experience of developing and delivering training material for both internal and external resource.
Flexibility to work 3 days onsite is essential.
