An exciting opportunity has arisen for multiple BI Developers to join a growing consultancy firm based around the UK who focus on using the latest technologies and have a clear vision for growth.

The Role

This is a traditional consulting role, you'll get to use your extensive technical experience to help their clients in all areas of development, maintenance and integration of their high-level data systems.

There are multiple roles available, they require time on client site (travel to which is covered on expenses) so are effectively hybrid positions but there is little requirement to go into the companies head office, perhaps a couple of times a year. For these three we are looking for people to be able to commute to the Birmingham area once or twice a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion adherence to quality gates and milestones within the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring seamless delivery of technical solutions.
  • Take the lead in crafting and presenting technical designs for stakeholder approval.
  • Thoroughly tested components and integration plans.
  • High-quality, well-documented code adhering to standards.
  • Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, maintainability, and performance through thorough reviews.
  • Adhere to change and configuration management processes.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation to support ongoing operations.
  • Facilitate smooth handover and knowledge transfer to support teams for production applications.
  • Uphold strict adherence to change and configuration management processes.

Requirements:

  • Oracle SQL / PL/SQL
  • Informatica - essential
  • ETL
  • Oracle Databases
