Site Manager – Newton Abbot
An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and reputable contractor as a Site Manager on a permanent basis. This contractor’s type of works includes commercial new build, extensions, refurbishments and maintenance with projects valuing up to £4m!

Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with clients and reporting progress
  • Supervising contracted construction workers
  • Meeting and managing subcontractors
  • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
  • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • Maintaining quality control checks
  • Motivating the workforce throughout the project
  • Day to day problem solving
  • Using specialist construction management computer applications
  • Ensure compliance and Health and Safety Regulations are in place and met at all times
Requirements:
  • Trade background desirable
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • CSCS Card
  • UK driving licence
