Your new company
Hays is working with a Main Contractor who require a Document Controller for 9-months minimum on student accommodation in Leicester.


Your new role
They require a Document Controller to help maintain project documents, sorting and storing electronic & hard copy documents for designers, surveyors, architects & other colleagues.


You will ensure that accurate information is distributed throughout the organisation, on time, to the people who need it. You will work with technical documents including blueprints, reports, H&S documents such as site inductions and other relevant documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a similar role for a large Construction company
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in using computers and basic IT systems including 4P and Viewpoint.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
  • Have a good understanding of technical construction documents and the importance they have to a projects lifecycle
  • Able to communicate effectively to all levels of colleagues


What you'll get in return

  • 5 days per week
  • £20 - £30 per hour (PAYE rates slightly lower)
