Job Role: Sign Installer
Job Type: Permanent/Full time
Salary: £31,000 per annum plus overtime available
Location: Wetherby, LS23 7FJ, Requirement to work away and stay overnight occasionally (Bonus paid for this)
 
Are you meticulous, safety-conscious, and passionate about delivering top-notch craftsmanship? We are on the lookout for a dedicated Sign Installer to become a vital part of the team. As a Sign Installer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' signage is expertly installed, meeting stringent safety standards and exceeding expectations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
Pre-Site Preparation:
  • Communication and Safety: Collaborate closely with the Account Manager and client contact to comprehend job requirements while prioritising safety measures.
  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of signage for flawless installations, upholding our reputation for excellence.
  • Stock Management: Maintain efficient stock levels and readiness of fixings for seamless installations.
  • Timeliness: Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to scheduled arrival times, meeting client expectations consistently.
  • Equipment Readiness: Ensure all necessary access equipment is loaded onto the van for a streamlined installation process. 
On-Site Duties:
  • Client Interaction: Establish rapport with clients and introduce team members, fostering a positive atmosphere for installation.
  • Activity Outline: Clearly outline on-site procedures to clients, ensuring transparency throughout the installation process.
  • Alignment Verification: Guarantee precise sign placement and obtain client approval for alignment.
  • Safety Priority: Adhere strictly to Health & Safety protocols, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Site Cleanup and Sign-Off: Thoroughly clean the site post-installation, obtain client sign-off, and promptly address any concerns using our online issues tracker.
Post-Site Responsibilities:
  • Debrief with Operations Manager: Provide detailed feedback to the Operations Manager, discussing any challenges faced during installation.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and determine the root causes of any issues encountered, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Solutions and Risk Mitigation: Propose effective solutions to prevent future issues and enhance our processes.
  • Administration: Accurately complete post-installation paperwork and ensure proper storage.
  • Van Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the van, ensuring it's prepared for upcoming jobs.
Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 3yrs Sign fitting experience including Vinyl application
  • Willingness to work away from home
