Services Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) – Nottingham – Perm contract 

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Services Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) for a large organisation based in the Nottingham area.

The role will involve:

  • Set and deliver the strategy for the management of the site’s mechanical and electrical building services including capital investment, statutory compliance and planned preventative
  • Responsible for planning and delivery of planned, reactive and emergency maintenance within the cost, customer care, governance, quality, and safety parameters set by legislation, and the site
  • Contribute to audits of Hard FM service provider activities in relation to planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and electrical assets
  • Work closely with the Facilities and Operations Managers and their line reports to implement and manage a range of value for money and cost-effective maintenance contracts for a range of specialist technical engineering services that will ensure core infrastructure, plant and equipment are operating
  • Organise management, procurement, and operation of the site’s planned maintenance contracts
  • Develop mitigation strategies which address potential business risks associated with the mechanical and electrical assets and recommend solutions
