Client Summary:
A well known, leading manufacturer of Heavy Plant and Compaction Machinery for use on soil, asphalt and refuse. Including, Asphalt Rollers, Single Drum Rollers, Pavers, Feeders, Planers and Stabilisers.
Position Summary:
Service Specialist providing all aspects of technical support for customers / dealers and colleagues. Working closely with the Service Controller and Service Manager a 3 - 6 month training period to be given to bring candidates up to speed on company products
Duties include:
* Providing technical support across a wide range of Heavy Plant and Light Equipment
* Use of SAP systems to order and manage parts stock
* Manage customer relationships in relation to - Service / Repair / Warranty queries.
* Proactive use of Telematics / BOTIS System to manage ongoing service / maintenance packages.
* Handle incoming technical calls to diagnose faults - working with Service Controller to resolve any issues
* Working closely with the Service Controller to ensure timely "In Field Product Support" and eligibility for warranty repair work
* Set up and continually update a knowledge database that is accessible by all in the
Product Support office
Person Profile/Experience:
* Heavy Plant (Construction) Background - Ideally Former Plant Fitter / Service Controller
* Good Technical Knowledge
* Good Customer Service Skills - (Customer Facing)
* IT Literate
* SAP Experience (desirable but not essential)
