Service Manager - Materials Handling Equipment

To £40,000 basic + Bonus + Car (Hybrid available), Pension, Benefits etc

Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of materials handling equipment. A part of a highly successful group, and having undergone rapid growth, they are looking to recruit a Service Manager to work in their Edinburgh depot.

Responsible for managing a team of Field Service Engineers and workshop staff as well as ensuring flawless service for the business clients.

Our client is looking for an individual with experience gained in the MHE sector or from a similar sector such as plant hire, equipment rental etc.

What's Required:

  • Extensive experience gained in a similar Service Manager role within the MHE sector or similar.
  • Experience of managing budgets etc.
  • Used to working with clients, being the focal point for service issues/escalations.
  • Exposure to budgetary responsibility and cost control.
  • The drive, dynamism and resilience required to be effective in a highly competitive sector.
