Service Charge Officer
  • Hourly Rate: £18.91 PAYE
  • Location: London Bridge, London
  • Job Type: Temporary, Hybrid (up to 2 days per week in the office)

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Charge Officer for an immediate start in a national social housing provider. This role is customer-oriented, focusing on addressing queries, complaints, or challenges related to service charges issued to leaseholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of service charges and be competent with Excel at an intermediate level. Experience in social housing or a private sector managing agent is essential.

Day to day of the role:
  • Addressing and resolving service charge queries from leaseholders.
  • Handling complaints and challenges related to service charges in a professional manner.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service and interaction.
  • Working independently on service charge enquiries with full support from the line manager for complex issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records and data related to service charges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with service charges in the public sector.
  • Good technical understanding of service charges.
  • Competency in Excel at an intermediate level.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
