Service Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining strong rapport with all customers and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet every customer, answer incoming calls, and manage online bookings for services, repairs, or MOTs.
  • Communication: Discuss aspects of work required, advise customers, and listen carefully to their needs.
  • Courtesy Cars: Ensure any courtesy cars required are booked and available when the customer arrives, and manage the checking in and out of these vehicles.
  • Workshop Support: Assist the Service Manager in planning and scheduling work for workshop technicians, and in preparing workflows.
  • Parts Ordering: Communicate with parts suppliers via calls and emails to order necessary parts.
  • Invoicing: Prepare invoices and make final preparations to the customer’s car after works are complete, ensuring it has been washed, sanitised, and that sweet gifts are in place.
  • Customer Follow-up: Advise customers when their vehicle is ready for collection, explain the works that have been completed, and ensure payment is processed.
Package
  • Salary: £23,000-£25,000 per annum
  • Bonus: £250-£500 per quarter, measured against profit targets achieved
  • Holiday: 20 days, rising to 23 days after 3 years of service
Training

Service knowledge and on-the-job training is offered with the support of an experienced colleague (Senior Advisor) during the early weeks to mentor you during induction.

Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:30 (1 hour break)
  • Occasional Saturday: 08:00 - 13:00 (max 4 per year)
