Senior Transport Planner needed in Blackburn

The hourly rate is £19.35ph PAYE

The successful candidate will take a major role in the development of the transport policy and strategy, with a particular focus on implementing and promoting sustainable transport initiatives and best practice.

To be the lead officer for development of a range of sustainable transport related projects (including active travel, bus and rail) and their subsequent monitoring. To provide specialist advice and input into the preparation and monitoring of the Local Transport Plan. To work with a wide range of stakeholders and to support the Growth & Development team in achieving its overall growth ambitions.
