Senior Transport Planner

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a market leading rail services provider, based in the centre of York, in the search for an experienced Transport Planner. This role will be responsible for compiling efficient and effective route planning for the Flights & Rail operations taking into account the customer-first approach.

Role responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating Transport routes on a global scale within budgeted costs
• Ensure the customer-first approach is at the forefront of your planned schedules
• Liaise with other internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Monitor and analyse customer feedback to help identify any opportunities for improvement
• Support the wider flights and rail team with their future product planning and pricing

Role requirements:

• Solid experience within a transport or logistics planning role - preferably within rail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to operate effectively within a time-constrained industry
• Ability to problem solve and make data led decisions
• High level of resilience and passionate about delivering a great customer experience
